The Prayer of Love
This is the slightly edited text of a prayer that I wrote for our children. We have the children pray it each day, with the hope that it will prove to be a powerful force in their lives. (My wife and I pray it also, naturally. I've found that it keeps me on track, and provides me with endless inspiration.) ~ Peter F. Brown

The Prayer of Love

Heavenly Father,
I pray that I can love and attend You
every second of every day.

I pray that I can love and serve and give
to all of your children,
every second of every day.

I repent that I haven't given enough, served enough,
attended enough and loved enough.

"I pray that I can
give and serve and attend and love,
infinitely, in all directions,
every second of every day."

Giving and serving and attending and loving infinitely,
in 360 degrees, or all directions, every second of every day,
creates an infinitely expanding sphere of love,
emanating from us, creating Heaven all around us.
